CrickerPodz

CrickerPodz are reusable cricket hideouts designed to make feeding live crickets to frogs, reptiles, and other insect-eating pets cleaner, easier, and less frustrating. We created them after getting tired of the traditional routine of shaking crickets out of cardboard egg cartons into a bag and then transferring them to the enclosure. Crickets naturally crawl into the CrickerPodz to hide; a slotted removable floor allows waste to fall through, while a removable outer band covers the entry holes so the occupied pod can be carried without escapees. At feeding time, the owner simply moves the CrickerPodz into the animal’s enclosure, removes the floor and band, and lets the crickets emerge. The result is a simple, reusable system that turns the crickets’ natural hiding behavior into an easier way to keep, handle, and feed live insects.
